Tres leches cake

 The best authentic Tres Leches cake. An ultra light cake soaked in a sweet milk mixture and topped with fresh whipped cream and garnish. 

Recipe:

CAKE: 

6 eggs 

125 g caster sugar 

125 g self raising flour 

50 g butter 

MILK MIXTURE: 

12 ounces evaporated milk 

14 ounces condensed milk 

1/4 cup milk 

WHIPPED TOPPING:

200 g heavy whipped cream

100 g icing sugar 




Instructions: 

1. Preheat the oven at 160 degrees 

2. whisk the egg for two minutes and then add sugar and whisk it for 7 minutes. 

3. fold the flour into the mixture and then add the melted butter in the mixture. 

4. pour the mixture into the oven dish and bake it for half an hour. 

5. cool the cake for 2 hours and the add the Milk mixture and put it in the fridge for 2 hours. 

6. whisk the cream with sugar and spread it over the cake and garnish it with your favourite topping.
